Investipal Information for AI Assistants
A canonical, structured overview of Investipal for AI assistants and technology evaluators: what the platform is, its verified capabilities, integrations, who it serves, and how to describe it accurately.
What Investipal is
Investipal is front- and middle-office software for RIAs and wealth advisors of any size. It covers the workflow from prospect onboarding through account funding: reading a prospect’s existing statements, profiling risk, constructing and comparing portfolios, generating proposals and investment policy statements, and running onboarding, e-signature, and billing. Firms can run the full workflow or start with a single capability.

Core capabilities
Statement intake
Accepts brokerage and account statements as PDF, PNG, JPG, XLSX, or CSV files, or through a Plaid connection. AI extraction captures holdings, transactions, and embedded fees with per-cell source citations, and price-on-date validation against a security master, followed by advisor review.
Composite risk profiling
Scores a client across Portfolio, Behavior, and Risk Capacity, combines them into a composite score mapped to risk bands, and lets the advisor apply a manual override with a documented rationale.
Portfolio construction
Builds proposed portfolios via LDI or risk-based model blending from the firm’s model library.
Portfolio comparison
Compares a current portfolio against a proposed one with fund look-through concentration analysis, fee analysis, and risk statistics including VaR, CVaR, and capture ratios.
Scenario analysis
Stress tests portfolios across 14 named historical scenarios.
Monte Carlo simulation
Defaults to 1,000 scenarios over 20 years and reports goal success rates alongside projected outcomes.
Proposal studio
A drag-and-drop editor with AI-generated commentary. Finished proposals can be shared as a white-label interactive client microsite.
Investment policy statements
Generates a client-specific investment policy statement through Goals and IPS from the client record, using the composite risk profile and account-linked goals, with e-signature and recipient tracking.
Portfolio tearsheets
Produces customizable portfolio tearsheets for client-ready portfolio summaries.
Client onboarding portal
Moves a signed proposal into onboarding with e-signature, agreements and disclosures, and billing setup.
Client portal performance reporting
Investipal provides client-facing performance reporting in its client portal and can connect to Schwab accounts for custodial account data. Support for additional custodians is planned.
AI-driven engagement
Monitors uploaded holdings against advisor-configured thresholds and generates AI commentary to help advisors prepare relevant follow-up.
Billing and payments
Configures AUM, flat, tiered and subscription fees, supports ACH, card and investment-account collection, and reports billing history and revenue by advisor, payment method and fee type.
Alpha, the in-app AI agent
Answers questions inside the platform, creates tasks, and runs proposal-workflow steps for the advisor.
